Control exactly who has access through specific doors.

Electronic access control consists of control systems that utilize credentials such as mag cards, i-buttons, prox cards, pin codes, hand geometry or finger print to grant access to a room or facility. Access control systems may use electric strikes, electric exit devices, Chexit, mag locks, door position switches and/or sirens. FBH can help you determine if your system can be installed as battery operated, wireless,or hardwired. Your access control system can be either online of offline meaning programmed and/or monitored in real time locally or remote; or manually (offline) by performing audits or programming at the actual door lock, as shown in the picture. Many buildings will have a combination of mechanical and electrical door hardware, making FBH the perfect choice to manage your complete building door security. We are expert in mechanical locks, closers, exit devices, and hinges as well as a national leader in IR Security Center commercial door and hardware electronics.

Electronic access control also includes the monitoring and surveillance of the opening through either a software audit trail and/or visual record captured by CCTV cameras and stored on video recorders for later analysis.

At FBH we can help you with all of your access control needs from system design and product purchase to installation and follow up service and training needs.

Request-to-Exit Bars

Electric Door exit bars are non-latching releasing devices which allow egress at doors with electric locking devices by the touch of a finger; when paired with an electronic opener, the ease of flow through the opening is controlled, and gentle. A great choice for nursing homes, hospitals, and other buildings where elderly people may be. The low profile and brushed aluminum give your door a look and feel of a custom opening.

  • "Push to Exit" lettering in white, red or green glow in the dark

  • Heavy-duty aluminum extruded bar
  • Standard lengths 36", 42", 48" door exit devices

Panasonic Ultra-tough, vandal-proof cameras work with the Schlage Security Management System Software to improve the safety at your building.

Add Surveillance Cameras to monitor your openings.

Video surveillance is another facet of the Schlage Security Management System. Live streaming digital video cameras can help protect your parking lot, stairwell, hallway, or your patients from entering or exiting without you knowing. For wandering alzheimer patients, where keeping the door closed and locked is of the utmost importance, this adds one more layer of safety to your building. These cameras, can be monitored remotely, and signals sent via the internet to doors()wirelessly or hardwired which lock the doors immediately, send a loud horn signal, or a file of the tape can be sent in an email to the manager at a specific location. Unusual behavior can be detected and actions can be taken by the personnel monitoring the surveillance system via internet. We are keenly aware of all aspects of access control and can help you set up a system that works with your existing doors and hardware. Let us come up with a plan to incorporate these safety features to help you eliminate any unwanted problems arising that involve ingress or egress to your building.

  1. A signal can be sent to a very small horn which gives an audible warning

  2. An email with the video attached can be sent to a manager so they know exactly what has happened.

  3. A signal can be sent to an electromagnetic lock switch to "lock-down" a single room or an entire building, including elevators, or exterior gates.
